Late in 2014, Sunoco approached Pro Signs with an opportunity to work on Daytona Rising, Daytona International Speedway’s $400 million dollar re-imaging project. The project included five expanded and re-designed entrances or “injectors”. The team was tasked with manufacturing and installing components to brand an “injector” specifically for Sunoco.

Pro Signs designed and manufactured a 64 ft. Sunoco sign (our largest sign to date), a 42 ft. Sunoco sign, a Sunoco canopy for the pit area, a custom set of stair graphics, numerous wall graphics, and various interior components. We were also tasked with developing a one-of-a-kind 80 ft. “shimmer” wall. After completing the manufacturing, all of the products and 20 of our crew members were sent down to Daytona for on-site assembly and installation. Over the course of 8 weeks our crew, with the help of a 120 ton crane, expertly installed all of the various components of the project throughout Sunoco’s Daytona International Speedway injector.

Sunoco and Daytona were very pleased with the final product. Our craftsmanship is on display every February for the 200,000+ fans that attend the Daytona 500.
